Data wrangling in a modern terminal

Once we constrain ourselves to a rectangle of fixed-width characters (preferably white on a black background), we start to see the world a bit differently. If we want to thoroughly investigate it (a.k.a. perform data analysis), we have to be equipped with appropriate tools - be it techniques, libraries or standalone console-based applications.
